My milk was dwindling because my baby goes with her dad every other weekend. She just turned 1 and I thought it would be a great idea to lose a few pounds. I cut my calories and sometimes will just juice for a day or 2. My milk suffered. I was afraid I would have to quit nursing. My baby would get frustrated with the boob and just wanted a bottle of pumped milk…. Which I barely got any. Then I had a small surgery and my milk really suffered as I couldn’t eat for 3 or 4 days. I did juice, but that was not helping. I was only pumping 2 ounces at a time. Majorly less than my normal 4 to 6 ounces.
I knew Jessica was a doula but didn’t know what else she did. I messaged her looking for lactation cookies. She told me about this mix she has. I got some the next day!
